Our Design Excellence Journey
Welcome to North Town House!
I love creating beautiful furniture especially when I have been able to stop it from going to landfill. Not only do I want to fill homes with handcrafted and lovingly refinished furniture but I also want to make a difference to our wonderful world. Furniture does not have to be bought brand-new and flat packed. Vintage/old furniture has still so much to give, maybe even more than new furniture does. So much history and character which would be a shame to just throw out.
Every piece I work on gets given the upmost attention to detail and with a lot of TLC and determination I create beautiful bespoke furniture that can be admired and loved once again.
Maybe you have a piece of furniture at home that no longer matches your home interior or it has been passed down to you or you simply just can't part with it then please do get in touch. I would love to be able to help you transform your very own furniture.
Or maybe you have something very specific in mind or have seen something you like? I am able to source quality antique, vintage and modern furniture to turn into a completely bespoke piece.
Thank you!
Sam
The Design Process
1. Firstly email me northtownhouse@gmail.com. If you are wanting a quote for an existing piece you already own, a picture and dimensions would be required. Some idea of design and style requirements would be good too. I always aim to get back to you, with initial information, within 3 working days. If you are wanting a piece sourcing, or are interested in commissioning one of my available pieces, initial ideas are great too.
I am also available for consultations at my workshop, or can complete site visits.
2. Once you have accepted a quote (either own piece, or sourced), I will then draw up a commission contract which will cover everything discussed, plus terms and conditions. I start work on the agreed date once the contract is signed and returned.
3. Work starts with regular updates. I always send pictures as the project progresses; plus clients are very welcome to visit the workshop, where they can see their piece developing.
Delivery of your completed piece will be as agreed
