A heavy sturdy solid wooden piece of furniture which is built to last featuring dovetail joints. The cabinet has been  fully refinished inside and outside. The inside has  been painted in sage green to compliment the colours of the transfer on the drawers. The outside has been heavily sanded, primed, painted in an off-white cream, varnished as well as waxed. Lastly a unique William Morris style specialised furniture transfer has been applied to the front drawers. Overall I wanted to achieve a distressed and rustic look by layering paint, creating texture and using different shades of wax to add depth and character.
